The Resident

The Resident follows doctor Devon Pravesh as he begins his residency at Kings County Hospital under the adept tutelage of Senior Resident Doctor, Conrad Hawkins. Dr. Pravesh, who graduated at the top of his class, is also brilliant, but has a tendency to blindly follow protocol due to a perfectionist work-ethic instilled within him by his working-class parents. Each of the doctors that Pravesh works with is as strong-willed and driven as himself, and each must cope with the realities of general practices in modern medical care that are far from their ideals and often appear to be ethically questionable.
