Like his father, Tom is a real estate agent who profits from dirty, sometimes brutal, deals. After he is introduced to the piano, he starts to audition with the help of a beautiful virtuoso pianist who cannot speak French - music is their only exchange. But pressures from his day job soon become more than he can handle.
