Thirty years after a formative journey to Greenland's east coast as a child, former snowboarding champion Mathieu Crepel retraces his steps to the island of Ammassalik. As a 10-year-old prodigy, he had discovered the island during a shoot between fjords and icebergs, sharing special moments with the children of the Inuit village. Now, as an adult, he searches for memories and faces the harsh reality of Greenlandic youth. He meets Knud, a tour guide, and Tuuta, two young Inuits torn between preserving ancestral traditions and embracing modernity. As Mathieu reflects on his childhood dreams, he confronts the challenges of a generation caught between survival in the wilderness and the pull of the modern world.
