Moontide

After a night of heavy drinking, an alcoholic dockworker (Jean Gabin) wakes up with no memory of the previous evening, but discovers evidence suggesting he may have been involved in a man's death. As he faces blackmail for murder, he seeks solace and support from a waitress (Ida Lupino), who is grappling with her own struggles, and who may hold the key to uncovering the truth about the night's events.
