Day of the Gun

Struggling to survive, widowed ranch owner Maggie Carter promises "there will be Hell to pay" if cattle baron Cyrus McCall doesn't tear down a fence he has put up adjoining her property to deter rustlers. Along with the wire, Maggie also has to contend with son Ned's disillusionment and her daughter Kate's romantic interest in young Cy, Cyrus and Rachel McCall's son. When Ned and Cy have a confrontation relating to an incident in their past, Ned is accidentally killed. Overwrought, Maggie summons a shadowy figure from her past to take revenge on her son's killer. Maggie's plan pulls both families into the fray, and someone pays a high price.
