Celia

Celia's grandmother has just died, carried off by the fairy tale monsters the Hobyahs. Behind her she leaves not just her impact on her 9-year old granddaughter, but the legacy of Australian Communism. Celia develops an angry and rebellious streak that Summer, as she forms an alliance with neighboring children against her enemies, fights for her pet rabbit's life, and while dabbling in witchcraft, takes her revenge on the cruel and complicated world of adults that surrounds her.
