Black Dog

Set against the backdrop of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, the film tells the story of two troubled individuals and the unexpected bond they form. After spending time in prison, Lang (Eddie Peng) returns to his hometown only to discover it is slated for demolition due to an "economic development plan." Among the deserted buildings, Lang encounters numerous stray dogs. One of these dogs, initially hostile, becomes Lang's adversary but gradually transforms into his cherished companion as the story unfolds.
