Lon, a skilled assassin with a physical deformity, trusts only his brother, Kwan. After Lon kills a police officer, the officer's partner begins pursuing him but hesitates to apprehend him upon seeing his face. During this time, Lon becomes romantically involved with Wendy, the girlfriend of his ruthless boss, Dragon. Wendy convinces Lon to assassinate Dragon, but it turns out to be a trap. Following the murder, Lon is struck by a car and falls into a river.

A year later, a man named Michael appears, working alongside Wendy. The partner of the slain police officer remains dedicated to the case and notices a resemblance between Michael and Lon.
