Still reeling from his wife's death, widower George Turner decides to start afresh. Turner packs up his teenage children and moves from the hustle and bustle of Sydney to the New Zealand coastal town of Weld, where he spent his summers as a child. The Aussie invaders quickly become the center of attention in this small town populated by weird and wonderful locals.
