Charming and sarcastic, with subtle and sympathetic humour, director Theresa von Eltz directs her debut, coming-of-age drama with assurance. A tragicomedy that takes seriously the suffering of troubled youths, letting them find new hope, friendship and community, without a trace of fake sentimentality.
